Great Horton man is sentenced for dangerous driving

A 26-year-old man has been ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work for dangerous driving.
Usman Azad, of Princeville Street, Great Horton, Bradford, sped off when police ordered him to stop.
Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday he forced oncoming vehicles to swerve and went the wrong way round a traffic island. He sped past a primary school in Lidget Green at 12.30pm on January 27 before fleeing on foot.
Azad admitted dangerous driving and driving without insurance or a licence.
He was sentenced to a 12- month community order and banned from driving for 12 months.
