Police issue new appeal over Keighley house blaze

Police have made a renewed appeal for information about a house blaze believed to have been started deliberately following a burglary.

Officers and fire crews were called to the semi-detached property in Braithwaite Edge Road, Keighley, in the early hours of Saturday, February 9. The house, which was unoccupied at the time, was severely damaged in the blaze.

Contact Detective Constable Ian Dawson on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Police said forensic investigations following the incident were ongoing.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and arson and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
