Drugs man jailed for possession

A 35-year-old man has been jailed for nine months after police caught him with 46 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine in his pockets.
Reon Kirk, of Burnham Avenue, Bierley, Bradford, pleaded guilty to possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday that Kirk was searched by police in Mark Street, West Bowling, Bradford, on March 15 last year.
As well as the drugs, he had £130 on him.
Anne-Marie Hutton, Kirk’s solicitor, said he was a chronic drug user, rather than a dealer.
He was not selling the wraps. He was giving them to friends who would repay the favour in the future.
