Developer sought for Haworth home site

The owner of a derelict former mill in Haworth is looking for a developer to demolish it and build 54 houses in its place.

The former Ivy Bank Mill, on Ivy Bank Lane, has stood as an empty shell since the 1970s, but last year Bradford Council approved in principle the building’s demolition to make way for two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Applicants K M Norris has been granted permission, and will now begin marketing the site to developers.

The company’s planning agent Mike Bottomley said: “Timescales/start date will be dependent on market conditions.”
