Company to stage outdoor theatre at Gomersal and Birstall

The Red House in Gomersal and Oakwell Hall Country Park in Birstall are to host outdoor productions again this summer.
Historic Red House is to host an outdoor production of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice on July 3 by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company. People are invited to bring a picnic to revel in this most renowned of love stories.
The company will also stage Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles on August 21 in the magnificent setting of Oakwell Hall Country Park.
Visitors are again invited to bring a picnic and join the world’s most famous detectives as he is called upon to solve one of his greatest mystery.
Each production will cost £13.50 for adults; £12 for seniors; £9 for children and students; and a family ticket is £40. Contact (01274) 335100 for information and tickets.
