Children from the Aire Valley roamed back in time when a drama company joined them in the classroom.
Pupils from Shipley Church of England School enjoyed a visit from the Young Shakespeare Company who performed Julius Caesar.
Deputy head teacher Pauline Grant said: “Pupils were transported to Ancient Rome, where they became market traders and citizens of Rome.
“Senators and servants were selected from eager volunteers, and everyone was spellbound by the tragic tale.”
