Shipley firm helps in stained glass repair

Stained glass at a church in Baildon has been repaired with the help of a donation from a Shipley memorials company.
The Co-operative Memorials, at Nabwood Cemetery Lodge, handed over £75 to the Moravian Church.
Derrick Purnell, minister at the church, thanked Gill Harney, of The Co-operative, and said: “It is always a constant struggle to maintain the building and fabric of the church.”
The money came out of The Co-operative’s community fund. Ms Harney said: “We had a gentleman come in who attends Moravian Church who ordered some plaques.”
