Help is at hand with energy bills
11:00am Monday 18th February 2013 in News By Telegraph & Argus
At least 36,200 households in Bradford are entitled to help with their energy bills, but many people do not realise they are eligible.
The Home Heat Helpline surveyed people entitled to help with their fuel bills and found that only 38 per cent in Yorkshire and the Humber thought it was aimed at them.
The Home Heat Helpline is a free, confidential service that connects people on low incomes with support which is worth about £160 on average. The assistance available includes grants for insulation, new boilers, discounts and rebate schemes.
