PC’s appeal now stands at £14,000

A fund for the children of a police officer from Pudsey killed in a road accident has raised more than £14,000.
PC Andrew Bramma died on January 5 when his police vehicle struck a tree in West Tanfield, near Ripon, on his way to an incident. PC Bramma, was the father of two young boys, Jack three, and Sam, whose first birthday is this month.
Sgt Mike Stubbs, of North Yorkshire Police Federation, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated so far – Andrew’s wife, Kathryn, has been overwhelmed by the level of support.”
Tomorrow rock band Under Fire will play in aid of the fund at Stanningley rugby league club where Andrew used to play. Visit stanningleyrugby.co.uk.
