A new service has been set up to get people back on their forgotten bikes.
A Bradford-based cycling training company is bidding to get bicycles which are gathering dust in garages and sheds back in full working order so the owners can safely get their wheels rolling again.
Safe 2 Repair is a new mobile bike repair service from Safe 2 Cycle, which is entering its fourth year in the Bradford area.
It will be led by Malcolm Hoddy, a former editor of the T&A’s sister paper the Keighley News who in retirement started a new career with Safe 2 Cycle run by his wife Francine.
Mr Hoddy said: “Figures show the number of people cycling in Bradford has doubled and numbers will increase even more over the next few years.”
