Activities programme is launched in Wibsey and Queensbury
11:00am Saturday 16th February 2013 in News
A programme of new activities for young people in two areas of Bradford has been launched.
Bradford Council’s youth service held two events, one at Victoria Hall in Queensbury and the other at Bradford Bulls Youth Cafe in Wibsey, to kickstart the scheme.
Bulls captain Heath L’Estrange was among guests at the Wibsey launch.
The new activities will give youngsters aged between 11 and 19 – or up to 25 with a disability – somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to for support, information and advice.
Both locations will offer 50 weeks of provision a year as well as additional activities during every school holiday.
There will be increased access to one-to-one support, advice and guidance.
