Guitar maker Brett Barrett
A guitar maker who brings musicians from across the world to play his instruments is hosting a concert in Haworth.
Brett Barrett’s presentation at St Michael’s and All Angels Church will be followed by similar concerts in Skipton and Ilkley.
The headline performer at all three concerts will be former Haworth man Alan Brinley Shaw, who now lives in Barcelona.
Alan last year performed in Skipton, where Brett makes his classical guitars for musicians across the world.
Brett was a teenager when he made his first guitar because he could not afford to buy the right quality of instrument.
In January this year, he brought classical guitarist Christina Sandsengen from Norway to Skipton to play her first UK concert.
The concerts begin at 8pm, at St Michael and All Angels Church in Haworth (March 15), Holy Trinity Church in Skipton (16) and All Saints Parish Church in Ilkley (17).
