A first recording for the Polish trumpeter’s New York band with David Virelles appearing again on piano, Thomas Morgan bass and Gerald Cleaver drums. The double CD features all new compositions by Stanko inspired by poet Wislawa Symorska, although many of the sounds and moods will be readily familiar to his fans.
