West Yorkshire Probation Trust mentor to receive honour

Steven Ellis, a former offender and now Peer Mentor, is among a group from West Yorkshire Probation Trust who will attend an awards ceremony at Buckingham Palace next month to receive a prestigious Butler Trust Award for his work with offenders and ex-offenders.
The accolade recognises outstanding dedication, skill and creativity by people working in prisons, probation or youth justice settings and is presented each year by its patron, The Princess Royal.
