Speeding motorist fined

A driver caught speeding on the A59 at Beamsley Hill has been fined by Skipton magistrates.
Kevin Broomfield, 34, triggered a safety camera on August 30 which showed he was travelling at 57mph on a 50mph section.
Broomfield, of Bradford Road, Riddlesden, was dealt with in his absence after he failed to appear at court.
Magistrates endorsed his licence with three penalty points, fined him £200 and ordered costs of £60.
