A 26-year-old man has been arrested in Bradford on suspicion of breaching anti-terror laws during a pre-planned police operation.
The West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit said the man was detained in Bradford on suspicion of possessing documents likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
A police spokesman said the suspect, from the Burslem area of Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested by unarmed officers at about 12.45pm today in the Undercliffe area of Bradford.
Computer and other electronic equipment was seized for forensic analysis following searches of the man's home in Burslem and another domestic property in the Undercliffe area.
