Menston tribute to Alfred Wainwright cancelled

Otley man John Burland has had to cancel his talk at Menston Methodist Church about the life of famous fellwalker Alfred Wainwright due to unforeseen circumstances .
The talk had been due to take place on Tuesday, February 26. The Guiseley show on May 9 will go ahead as planned.
Mr Burland, founder of the Wainwright Society, has given 26 performances of his one-man show – focusing on the life and works of the guide-book writer – since 2009.
