Dr Christine Alvin gives Keighley & District Local History Society talk

The Local Studies Library at Keighley will host another in the regular series of talks by the Keighley & District Local History Society on Wednesday.
Dr Christine Alvin will give a talk titled Sequah: The American-Indian Medicine Man from Yorkshire.
Sequah was a Yorkshireman who gained fame as a medicine man. A well known ‘Quack’ doctor, he became a cult figure around the country. The talk starts at 7.30pm, but the doors open from 7pm. For more details, call (01535) 618215.
