Oakbank School pupil receives Youth Sport Trust’s Young Person Award

Nathan is presented with the award by Olympic silver medallist Gail Emms and former international heavyweight boxer Dermot Gascoyne
Nathan Connelly, a sixth-form student at Oakbank School in Keighley, has received the Youth Sport Trust’s Young Person Award, in recognition of his contribution to PE and sport within his school and community.
Nathan, 17, was presented with the award by Olympic silver medallist Gail Emms and former international heavyweight boxer Dermot Gascoyne.
As part of his prize, Nathan’s school will receive a visit from Olympic sprinter and Youth Sport Trust ambassador Jason Gardener.
