Ilkley Library upgrade work continues

Redecoration work is continuing at Ilkley Library.
The library remains open during the work but there will be disruption.
From Monday, February 18, there will be no public access to the central section of the ground floor reference area.
From Monday, February 25, there will be no public access to the left side of the ground floor, including the local studies collection and former tourist information centre area.
Coun Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council’s executive member responsible for culture, said: “I accept that in the short-term it is a real inconvenience for all Ilkley library users but in the longer term it will result in a much smarter building.”
