The scene of the accident
This driver failed to cope with a Keighley roundabout and finished up stuck in the middle of trees and shrubs.
The Bradford-bound white Renault Megane with French registration plates had driven through plastic “turn left” signs and up on to the large island on the A650 Aireworth Road junction.
The accident, shortly before 11am today, caused traffic delays as police supervised the vehicle’s rescue.
A police spokesman said there was only damage to trees and plastic signs and the 52-year-old Frenchman was uninjured.
