Members of Baildon Fairtrade group attended the declaration that Yorkshire had become the UK’s first Fairtrade region after serving ethical tea and coffee at Manor Coatings Systems anniversary the previous day.
Bradford Lord Mayor Coun Dale Smith was among those who enjoyed a cuppa at the Shipley paint firm’s open day, which had a display provided by the Baildon group.
Group convener Elaine de Villiers said the size of Yorkshire would have influence over the UK and therefore benefit farmers and producers.
