Burst pipe leaves 2,000 Baildon homes without water

Around 2,000 homes in Baildon are still without water after the supply stopped this morning.
Yorkshire Water engineers have been to Thompson Lane to repair a burst pipe and re-route water supplies to the area. But there is still a problem with many homes having no water, or very low pressure.
A Yorkshire Water spokesman said the firm believed there was a leak elsewhere and was working hard to fix the problem.
He said bottled water had been given to vulnerable residents and thanked people for their patience.
Water supplies have been disrupted since 6.30am.
