TRAFFIC is at a standstill on a major Hampshire road after a scooter skidded out of control.
Police were called to Bursledon Road, Southampton, just before 6.30pm, following the crash involving the scooter rider.
No other vehicle was involved and the rider is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
Traffic is now queuing all along the road heading towards the city.
