Students at Tong High School are making their mark on the world of sport - representing their district, region and their country.
Year 11 pupil Rhianna-Mae Laing has returned from Australia after competing as part of the Great Britain under 18 women’s basketball team where they claimed fifth in the world league table.
Rhianna said: “Tong High School has really encouraged and supported me.”
Other Tong student stars include year 10’s Callum Knight and Micah Manuokafoa who won scholarships with Bradford Bulls, and year 11 student Talent Ndlovu, who is part of Barnsley Football Club’s Academy.
