Police have warned motorists not to leave valuables on show in vehicles after four cinema-goers’ cars were targeted in Birstall.
Four break-ins or attempted break-ins were reported at the Showcase Cinema car park between 7pm and 8pm last Thursday.
Two men, both described as white, had attacked the vehicles’ locks with some kind of tool, police said.
They broke into two vehicles and attempted to break into two more, with CDs among the items stolen.
