A group of schoolchildren braved a snowfall to compete in a dance competition – and won first prize.
The youngsters at Swain House Primary School entered a junior dance contest at Buttershaw Enterprise College and were put through their paces by choreographer Jodi Crossland and other members of staff.
Despite the snowfall, the children arrived at school early in the morning and travelled to Buttershaw, where they were triumphant.
