A suspect, who was being questioned by detectives in connection with two armed robberies outside a Bradford store, has been released on bail.
The 43-year-old man was being quizzed about two offences which occurred within minutes outside the Co-operative supermarket, in Townend Toad, Clayton, Bradford, at about 6.20pm last Saturday.
In the first incident a man brandishing a large knife tried to rob a 22-year-old woman. Soon after, a 35-year-old man was attacked as he withdrew money from the cashpoint outside the store.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Airedale and North Bradford CID, via 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
