Two miniature spotted ponies from Bingley St Ives estate are bringing pleasure to care home residents.
Alfie and Spot, from the equestrian centre at the estate visit homes as part of the Pat-a-Pony service.
Keighley woman Susan Dunne, who owns the duo, said residents loved them.
“The ponies will happily stand all day while people make a fuss of them and because of their size and temperament they will go into a lounge or even up in lifts to visit people unable to leave their bedroom,” she said.
“I’ve been running the service on and off for the past year. I’ve taken the ponies to care homes across Yorkshire.”
