Brides-to-be got plans for their big day under way yesterday at the Telegraph & Argus Wedding Fair.
Held at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford, the event – which featured two fashion shows – attracted more than 600 visitors between 11am and 3.30pm.
Among those visitors were 125 excited brides-to-be, said T&A events and features manager Amanda White.
“It has definitely been a success,” she said. “We set it up as a one-stop wedding shop under one roof. People who have just got engaged came along and could potentially sort out 75 to 80 per cent of their big day.
“Instead of spending lots of weekends going round to all the different exhibitors, we had it all under one roof.”
There were exhibitors from various venues and companies in Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Skipton and Selby showcasing dresses, outfits, menswear, hats, hair, make-up, nails, jewellery, flowers, venues, cakes and cars.
Mrs White added: “There was even a horse and carriage!”
