Hundreds of Muslims took to the streets yesterday paraded through Keighley, many of them waving brightly-coloured flags, to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed.
The hour-long procession left from the Markazi Jamina Mosque in Emily Street before passing through the town centre with smiling onlookers handing out sweets and drinks along the way.
Organised by the Muslim Association of Keighley, the colourful parade is traditionally one of its biggest events of the year in the town.
