Bradford East MP David Ward helped raise money for charity by packing shopping bags at Morrisons.
The Liberal Democrat was at the Thornbury supermarket on Saturday alongside volunteers from the Bradford Youth Development Partnership (BYDP) to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Mr Ward said: “I’m so glad to be able to help BYDP raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The charity provides fantastic care for cancer sufferers toward the end of their lives and their work is funded entirely through donations. We are extremely fortunate to have one of their hospices in Bradford and I am proud to be able to support them.”
Sofia Mahmood, youth development leader at BYDP, said: “We are hoping to raise lots of money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, and Morrisons have been so supportive in making sure we reach our targets for the charity.”
