Keighley integration group bids for £3,865

A group that supports young people moving to Keighley from Eastern Europe may get Bradford Council funding.

It has asked for £3,865 to help dozens of youngsters settle into the town and learn about other cultures who live locally.

The money will be spent on fun, creative and interactive youth activities that bring young people from differentneighbourhoods together.

They learn about issues such as writers possibilities, social education, health and equality, and personal safety.

The Council’s Keighley Area Committee will be asked on Thursday to approve the funding for the Eastern European Young People’s Group.
