Menston schoolgirl wins piano scholarship

A Year 7 student from a Menston school has won a scholarship for young pianists.
Annabelle Connor took part in Richard Meyrick’s Pianoman masterclass at Woodhouse Grove School, Apperley Bridge.
At 12-years-old, the St Mary’s Catholic High School pupil was one of the youngest participants.
Funded by the Pianoman experience, Annabelle will travel to London for a monthly lesson with Richard Meyrick.
He said: “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity for a talented young musician and we are all excited to see her progress.”
