An organisation hoping to find 100 apprentices in Keighley is holding an open surgery.

A business development adviser with Appris Management Ltd will talk to prospective apprentices.

Dean Coleman-Walker also wants to talk to businesses interested in providing apprenticeships at the event next week.

Apprentices must be between 16 and 24, and can be taken in for business administration and law, engineering and manufacturing technology, and retail and commercial enterprise.

Appris, which already oversees 400 learners with 150 West Yorkshire firms, is working on the Keighley scheme – entitled 100-1 – with training company EMD.

Mr Coleman-Walker will be at EMD's offices in the Aire Valley Business Centre, Lawkholme Lane, from Tuesday to Saturday next week.
