A pub-goer has won a competition to name a new beer.
Back in December, The Halfway House pub asked its regulars to suggest names for its new brew.
And staff have now chosen Wafley Mouse, a suggestion by customer Mary Wood, as their favourite from more than 80 entries.
Mrs Wood was invited to the pub last night to pull the first pint and pick up her prizes – a £50 voucher for use at the pub, on Otley Road between Baildon and Shipley, and a private tour of the brewery which created the beer, complete with a tasting session.
She said: “I was wonderful – I haven’t pulled a pint for a good 15 years!
“I’m going to let my better half Martin try some, because I’m more of a wine girl myself.”
