Lees Primary pupils Isabelle Lockyer, four, left, and her sister Amy, eight, get ready for the curry night
Things are hotting up for parents at Lees Primary School in Keighley.
The school's new Parents Forum will host a curry night in the hall on Friday.
It is the first of a planned series of social events to bring together parents and carers. The forum will also enable parents to air their views and influence school policy.
Catering at the curry night will be provided at a reduced cost by the Bengal Spice restaurant in Haworth Road.
Jenny Mercer, the school’s learning innovation and liaison co-ordinator, said the forum began as a parents' regular coffee morning She said: "It's an organisation to give parents more influence over what happens in school at a strategic level.
"We used to have a parents' coffee morning where they could have a say about their concerns. We formalised it with a committee and chairman."
