A pair of councillors met with an environmental health officer to discuss ongoing issues surrounding a local chicken factory.
The latest meeting of Cullingworth Village Council was told that councillors Jacqui Guy and Lionel Ackroyd spoke to Neil Winchcombe about problems including noise, smell and vehicle parking.
The councillors said they plan to arrange a meeting with the management of the factory, off Station Road, but had not yet fixed up a date.
Speaking after the meeting, Coun Guy, who chairs the village council, said: “There is an acceptance that because of the processes that take place there are going to be odours, and the factory has tried to improve the situation.
“They’ve started to use odour suppressants in some of their processes, which has helped.
