Police hunt Mirfield station pervert

British Transport Police in West Yorkshire are hunting a pervert who performed an indecent act in front of a 15-year-old boy on a train.

The schoolboy, who was on his way home, got on the 3.31pm Huddersfield to Leeds service at Mirfield station last Friday He sat in a carriage on his own, and the man got on the train at Dewsbury.

He sat next to him, where the offence took place.

Investigators want to speak to anyone who has any information about the incident.

Detective Constable Mick Kelly, the investigating officer, said it was believed the man left the train at Leeds station.
