New training academy to be launched in Keighley

George Michael tribute act Fast Love will entertain visitors during the launch of a new training academy at Keighley Civic Centre.
An “evening of 80s grandeur” will showcase the hospitality and catering apprenticeship scheme to employers, schools and potential trainees.
Confianza, a not-for-profit company, is aiming its courses, which involve training and work placement, at the long-term unemployed and young people. There will also be weekend cooking classes teaching traditional skills.
The launch takes place on Friday, February 8, at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from cellatthecivic.co.uk or the Civic Centre reception.
