New health group holds first meeting

A new campaigning group, concerned about privatisation of the NHS, has held its first meeting in Bingley.
The group was set up by Jenny Reynolds, of Wilsden, using the 38 Degrees campaign website.
Mrs Reynolds said: “We are a group of local people who meet informally but we are all committed to the NHS and to keeping it as a public service.”
She said they had handed over a petition against privatisation and says ‘more efforts’ are needed to preserve the NHS. She can be contacted at jennyr@annajan9.wanadoo.co.uk.
