Acts win praise in Bradford Bulls talent show

Acts in the latest round of Bradford Bulls’ X Factor-style competition braved the snow to entertain owner Omar Khan and judges at Odsal on Saturday.

Among those competing for a chance to entertain the crowd – and a £5,000 prize – was Bradley Johnson, 15, of Low Moor, Bradford.

And the Dixon City Academy pupil won praise from Emmerdale stars Matthew Wolfenden and Duncan Preston on the panel.

“It’s not often you see Duncan smile, but he did then!” joked Matthew after Bradley’s solo perfomance of Human by The Killers.Other performers in the OK Bull Factor event included guitarist and singer James Grover, 26, from Clayton, Bethany Feather, 14, of Bradford, and York band Acapulco Gold.

Bradford guitar band, Liquid Brick, with Danny Gallagher, 16, Jack Broker, 17 and Conor Griffiths, were also highly praised for their version of Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis.

Successful acts will perfom on the pitch before home games this season and fans will be asked to vote for their favourite.

Thats strange I thought OK didn't want any of the old regimes and associates having any involvement with the Bulls? If so why is Caisleys unofficial spokesman Preston involved??
