Kind-hearted staff at the Co-op in Bingley put on fancy dress to kick-start a ‘record’ breaking year of charity fundraising.
They are hoping to hit the right note with the 50,000 unpaid young adult carers in Bradford.
The Co-op’s charity of the year is the Carers Trust, which needs cash to tackle feelings of isolation and provide breaks, information, advice and support for 14-25-year-olds facing the challenges of caring.
The Rock Around the Clock theme is an acknowledgement to the 24/7 nature of the challenges facing the young people.
