An appeal has been lodged against Bradford Council’s rejection of plans for a wind turbine at Woodhead, in Ryecroft, Harden.
The application, for a 15-metre-hub turbine and associated infrastructure, was refused on the grounds it was inappropriate in the green belt and would have an adverse visual impact.
But the applicant, Martin Langden, said the proposed turbine was slender and modest in scale.
Harden Parish Council lodged no objection.
The appeal is being dealt with through written representations.
