Tony Fyfield has won a photographic competition, organised by the Clapham-based Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and Earby company Dales Holiday Cottages.
His winning photographer, Aysgarth in Autumn, will feature in the charity’s 2014 calendar, along with several other images that were entered into the Facebook photography competition. Tony will also receive a £250 Amazon voucher.
Photographer Kerry Harrison, who judged the competition, said: “I like that this photograph is a little bit of an unexpected view of a familiar subject.
“The foreground branches really lead the eye through the frame towards the stream and I also love the hazy back light.”
Dales Holiday Cottages has been a supporter of YDMT since 2006 and during this time has donated £10,400 towards the charity’s vital work in caring for the landscape, environment and communities of the Yorkshire Dales.
The calendar will be available to buy from ydmt.org/shop from August.
