I traversed the snowy hills between Bradford and Huddersfield, on the train, there were also buses running on the roads and also some cars were driving on the main roads too, HOW CHAOTIC. Some people have really let themselves down – we’re hardy Yorkshire folk, not southern shandy drinking fairies!

i took her indoors to work this morning. halifax rd, manchester rd and dropped her by city hall on hall ings. turned up bridge st for my only problem, a national express bus stuck at lights but he got it through in a couple of minutes, then on croft st, little horton lane and st. enoch's and down through wibsey. no probs.
light traffic and buses running so for me no excuse for not turning up at work. (or school).

"If you get stuck in the snow stay with your car. In an emergency, if you do need to leave it, park it out of a main traffic route, where it won't cause an obstruction when conditions ease"

What a stupid thing to write !!!! if you're stuck - how do you move your car to park it without obstructing !!!!
