Entries are now open for the sixth annual Keighley BigK 10k.

The event is again being held on Mother’s Day, which this year falls on March 10, and starts at Victoria Park. It follows a multi-terrain route taking in the town’s roads, paths and parks.

Last year’s event attracted a record 950-plus starters, which the organisers – Manorlands and Sport Keighley – hope to beat this year, and more than £49,000 was raised for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice in the process.

People wishing to train for the 10k can attend Keighley & Craven AC Begin Running sessions. Visit kcac.co.uk or contact John Dennis on sport john@blue-yonder.co.uk or 07919 477861.
