A vigliant neighbour who spotted youths setting fire to a street’s wheely bin collection managed to apprehend one of them and police caught the other.
The incident happened minutes before midnight on Sunday in Lynfield Drive, High Town, Liversedge.
Firefighters from Cleckheaton attended and a crew spokesman said: “A neighbour saw the lads on their bikes setting fire to the bins. He apprehended one of them and called us.”
