An estranged husband from Keighley has been ordered to pay compensation by Skipton magistrates after he damaged a door where his former partner was living.
Graham Ogden, 40, had gone to Sharphaw Avenue in Skipton on November 18, angry about being left with the family dog, the court heard yesterday.
His wife called the police after hearing banging from outside, and damage to the door, owned by Yorkshire Housing, amounted to £156.
Ogden, now of South Street, Keighley, was given a six month conditional discharge, ordered to pay compensation, £85 costs and £15 victims surcharge.
