A pop rock musical that starred Bradford’s Gareth Gates has been nominated for a national award.
Loserville, which opened at West Yorkshire Playhouse in June before transferring to the West End, has been nominated in the Best New Musical category of the Whatsonstage.com Awards 2013.
Written by Elliot Davis and James Bourne, former member of Busted and Son Of Dork, the show, set in a 1970s high school, starred Gareth as a villainous schoolboy who sets out to ruin the dreams of the hero, and steal his girlfriend.
